Mark Pilgrim swore to fight his cancer with all his might and has left many in awe of his continued positivity, even on his very worst days. Every post garners thousands of messages filled with love and support for him.
Johannesburg, South Africa (09 January 2023) – Thousands of messages filled with love and support for Mark Pilgrim and his cancer fight keep flowing in with every update he posts.
The talented radio presenter shared his scary cancer news in February this year but promised to smile, even when he is afraid. This diagnosis came after 33 years of being in remission.
He was diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer in his youth, which spread to his lungs and kidneys. He fought the cancer off and had been in remission until his recent diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer. The scans revealed that he had several tumours throughout his body, so aggressive treatment was started to shrink them.
He recently spent 64 days in hospital but was released just before New Year’s Eve when he proceeded to propose to Adrienne, the love of his life. The moment gave South Africa all the feels.
Pilgrim swore to fight his cancer with all his might and has left many in awe of his continued positivity, even on his very worst days. Every single post garners thousands of messages filled with love and support for him.
