The Reach For A Dream Foundation gave ten little dreamers the treat of a lifetime at a spa in Pretoria; including sweet treats and all!
Pretoria, South Africa – The Reach For A Dream Foundation works to fulfil the dreams of children between the ages of 3 and 18 who are living with life-threatening illnesses. The dream team uses the special day to help the children regain some of their childhoods which mostly consists of medical routines and being cautious.
“We believe in the power of dreams and we encourage children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses. We seek, as far as possible, to make dreams come true and our donors and sponsors make this happen.” – Reach for a Dream
Whatever the dream, no matter how big or small, it often gives the child hope and courage to carry on the fight. The fulfilment of these dreams inspires hope and courage in the dreamer and helps them believe that tomorrow is worth fighting for.
The latest dream reached ten girls. They were treated to a lovely spa-day.
“We spoilt 10 dreamers from Pretoria to a magical day of spa treatments and pampering at Monte de Dios Wedding and Conference Venue. The girls were in awe of the beautiful setting and a special thank you goes out to JAPS Printing and Tessa Kruger Photography for capturing the theme so eloquently! The ladies from LCN Aesthetic & Slimming Clinic ensured our dream girls received 5-star treatment with personalised mani and pedis- Thank you so much for your heartfelt generosity.
Our dream girls absolutely loved being in their own ‘Spa World’ and didn’t want to leave at the end of the day! Thank you to the beautiful Veruska Uys for teaching our girls how to model their new looks and for crowning them Queen for a Day the memories will last a lifetime. This magical day wouldn’t have been possible without Corinne (Petite Partyki Datjies) and her team of suppliers, our dedicated, longstanding volunteer Charlie Gaffney and Mercedes-Benz SA. Thank you to all involved in this truly magical day!”
Take a look at the beautiful day that was set up for the girls. Don’t worry, the boys got a day of their own, visiting a fire station a few months ago.
