The bright eyes and big smiles of the preschool kids at Honey Beez Educare, located in the sprawling township of Du Noon, reminded us of the significant impact that a small act of kindness can have.
These children received nutritious meals, supplies and treats thanks to the heartfelt gratitude of the Harry Crossley Foundation in support of the Ladles of Loves’ Nourish Our Children Programme.
The foundation’s continued support of the initiative helps provide consistent, nutritious meals, giving these little ones the fuel they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
Little ones eagerly scooped up spoonfuls of a delicious lunch followed by some fresh doughnuts. A team of Good Samaritans experienced the impact of generosity firsthand during a recent site visit. They witnessed bright smiles, satisfied appetites, and eager little learners ready to take on the world!
As part of the programme, Ladles of Love actively sources and procures bulk food for Educare Centres in underserved communities, promoting highly nutritious breakfast and lunch for children. Nutritionists also create customised meal plans and training videos for food preparation.
