Egyptian Goose

A video has surfaced in Cape Town of the most incredible act of compassion you will ever see and it will make your heart melt. A man on Clifton beach shared his water with a thirsty Egyptian Goose.

Be prepared for the most heartwarming video you will ever see… A man and an Egyptian goose had the purest connection we have ever witnessed.

Get your tissues ready because this beautiful moment will bring tears to your eyes. A man was filmed giving water to an Egyptian Goose on Clifton Beach.

Egyptian Geese are beautiful birds, while they can be a nuisance, they are one of the few that mate for life. This lone goose flew down to the beach in search of water and found it in a willing human companion. This incredible sight is a sobering contrast in the political mudslinging that is the Cape Town water crisis. While we continue to monitor the constant he said/ she said in the water havoc, we need to remember that it isn’t only the humans that are affected by the drought.

This brave bird approached a human for a quick drink to quench its thirst. Something that would never happen without these dire circumstances.

Joel Graham shared the video on Facebook and had this to say,

An Egyptian Goose landed on Clifton beach. We calmly approached each other. I offered water for her to drink.
She drank then she flew off.

We should all put a bowl of water out for the wild animals;)
