Greg Kriek, a talented South African actor from Cape Town, has risen to Hollywood fame with over 90 international screen-acting credits and is sharing his inspiring journey and advice on the Good Things Guy podcast.

 

Global (18 June 2024) – South Africans are renowned for their talent and determination, and actor Greg Kriek is a shining example.

Originally hailing from Cape Town, Kriek has gone from humble beginnings to becoming a Hollywood star, proving that South Africans can indeed make a significant impact on the global stage.

Kriek, with over 90 international screen-acting credits to his name, is officially South Africa’s most internationally credited actor in his category. He is an award-winning actor and a member of the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, as well as an Emmy judge based on his Hollywood achievements. His journey is a powerful story of hard work and resilience.

Kriek’s rise to fame is nothing short of inspirational. From starring in local South African films to making his mark in Hollywood, his career trajectory has been impressive. He is the leading man in the Emmy-winning “The Serengeti Rules” and stars in the Oscar-nominated “Incognito”. He won the Best Actor in a Feature Film for “The Recce” at the KIFF and was the 2022 Best Actor winner for the Holocaust drama “Trust”.

Currently, Greg can be seen as “Marcus” in Zack Snyder’s epic global sci-fi franchise “Rebel Moon” on Netflix. He also shared the screen with Hollywood heavyweights like Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Hart, Scarlett Johannson, Channing Tatum, Miley Cyrus and Billy Zane.

This week, Greg is featured on the Good Things Guy podcast, sharing his journey from Cape Town to Hollywood. He speaks candidly about his experiences working in Hollywood, the challenges he has faced, and how he has handled rejection.
