Katy's Palace Bar Garth Taylor music video

Following on its current chart success, the music video for Garth Taylor’s latest single, Crocodile Tears, was launched today at 12pm.

The song, off Garth’s most recent album, Re-Made, is enjoying airplay on radio across the country.

“This song is about relationships, about re-assuring the other person that things are not as bad as they seem, there is always someone there for you.  There is no need to over complicate things, love is there,” comments Garth.

The Crocodile Tears music video was filmed in Johannesburg using the beautiful Katy’s Palace as a backdrop. The music video was produced and filmed by the highly acclaimed, Kyle White from Kyle White TV Productions.

“We decided to keep the video simple to really showcase Garth as an artist and similarly to how the song is about not over-complicating things, we went that route,” adds Kyle.

Garth Taylor celebrates 20 years in the music industry this year. From his first single, Why, in 1998, Garth has continued to produce chart-topping hits and has performed on stages around the country and abroad.

Over his career, he has opened for the likes of international sensations such as Shaggy, Simply Red, Bryan McKnight and Judy Boucher, as well as having shared the stage with some of SA’s biggest music legends.

Lyrics:

Those crocodile tears ain’t gonna work this time on me

I know that a girl’s supposed to cry but not over me

So please, dry up, your eyes and say goodnight

Cos there’s no excuses, you’re mine tonight

You in my heart, in a jar, on a shelf there you are

You’re in my dreams, in my head, in my heart yes you are

So lay down next to me, and love me, love me, won’t you.

Hold on tight to me and love me, Love me

I don’t know what else that I could do to make you feel

You are the most beautiful that I have ever seen

So just get up, stand tall, Cos deep inside

You should know that, you are, my shining light

You in my heart, in a jar, on a shelf there you are

You’re in my dreams, in my head, in my heart yes you are

So lay down next to me, and love me, love me, won’t you.

Hold on tight to me and love me, Love me

La da da da da, La da da da da, La da da da da, La da da da da

You in my heart, in a jar, on a shelf there you are

You’re in my dreams, in my head, in my heart yes you are

So lay down next to me, and love me, love me, won’t you.

Hold on tight to me and love me, Love me

So lay down next to me, and love me, love me, won’t you.

Hold on tight to me and love me, Love me

La da da da da, La da da da da, La da da da da, La da da da da
