The Good Things Guy, Brent Lindeque, joined the Krush Goodness Krew at Nancy Shiba Primary in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga to spread a little bit of goodness. This is what he got up to…
The Nancy Shiba Primary School in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga was the recipient of an exciting day with the Krush Goodness Krew. As part of the campaign to spread goodness across South Africa, Krush partnered with Smart Steps by Novita Shoes, to hand out 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in need.
Brent Lindeque, the founder of Good Things Guy, was invited to join the Goodness Krew in Mpumalanga at one of their drop-off days.
When asked what goodness means to him, Brent’s response was one that he has carried with him since the beginning.
“Goodness means making a positive impact on the people around me, leaving people feeling better than when I found them. Every day I get to share good news stories with South Africans and the world, contributing to their sentiment towards our beautiful country… giving them a reason to be proudly South African and inspiring them to share a little goodness with their friends and family too.”
As part of the Goodness Krew, Brent was encouraged to share some inspirational words with the children at Nancy Shiba Primary School. He stressed to the bright young minds that their dreams are important and that they should stay focused on their educations to achieve those dreams.
He also shared the message of kindness, prompting the children to always support one another and to offer a helping hand wherever they could.
While handing out the shoes and yummy Krush juices to each child, Brent stopped to ask what they wanted to be when they grow up. The children answered with such excitement and joy, an energy that was carried throughout the day.
It was a wonderful thing to see such hopeful smiles on these young faces. The goodness that has been done by Krush really will help these children to reach for their dreams!
