new car

A very deserving man was recently the winner of a brand new car, and when he accepted the keys, he shared a glimpse into what he will use it for.

Richards Bay, South Africa – Msizi Mkhwanazi one of four lucky winners of a brand new 1.4 VW Polo Vivo in Engen’s “Ditch the Cold and Catch the Cool competition”.

The brand-new VW Polo Vivo was handed over at Engen Alton in Richards Bay this month to an ecstatic Msizi, who is the first person in his family to own a car.

“And not just any car. A brand-new car. It still feels like a dream. I am so grateful to Engen for giving me this opportunity,” said a beaming Msizi.

Owning a set of wheels is a boon for Msizi and his family. He shared how his father has been very ill, and they have relied on rental cars to get him to the hospital.

“My father is ill and no longer able to walk. My new car will be such a help to my family, because for years we have had to hire cars to take him to the hospital.

“I would like to tell all young people out there, that it’s possible to be a winner with Engen. You might just find yourself driving off in a brand-new car.”

According to Brad Bergh, Engen’s Retail Brand, Communication and Advertising Manager, it is important for Engen to continue offering exciting and innovative promotions like “Ditch the Cold and Catch the Cool.”

“This allows us as a brand to engage and interact with our customers,” said Bergh.

Msizi and his family have had their lives changed for the better thanks to this competition, and now they will be able to save a great deal of money when getting his father to the hospital.
