The Wet Nose Equestrian Rescue Centre is home to many beautiful rescue horses, donkeys, farm animals and pets – The organisation gives animals the best life.

Bronkhorstspruit, South Africa (04 March 2022) – The Wet Nose Equestrian Rescue Centre and Animal Rescue has worked with animals for years, taking in horses, donkeys and other animals in need of rescuing.

In 2019, the rescue centre was able to purchase the property next door, giving them even more space to bring in horses that have been neglected or abused.

They had put money away each month in the hopes of buying something someday, and then it all changed. A man left them money, and the owner of the equestrian centre dropped his price. All of a sudden, the Wet Nose organisation had the means to actually put an offer on the property.

They were bidding for the property along with others and held their breath, waiting to hear if their offer was accepted. The owner considered all offers, even the better ones, but chose the charity instead. He wanted the space to be used for good, and by choosing Wet Nose, he has done just that!

Now two years later, the horses and other animals living at the property are doing very well. The rescue centre invites volunteers to join them to feed animals, walk dogs, socialise kittens, and so much more. Spending the day means you can help animals of all kinds. For those who own horses, they also have space to offer stabling and care.

So if you are looking for a fun day out with the children to see animals but want to also do some good, reach out to set something up. They host events at the centre and will be relaunching their sleepover events where you can spend 24hrs on the property. They will be hosting a sleepover on the 26th of March 2022.

“Come and experience a fun filled day in the life of a shelter animal that you will never forget and make a homeless animal forever grateful. You have the option to spend from 1-24hrs with one of our dogs or cats in our care!!

There will be plenty to do so don’t worry you will not be bored!! You will spoil a shelter animal, get to meet new people, enjoy a fun day at the “World of Wags” or just chill with your sleepathon companion/s!!
