Johannesburg, South Africa (26 August 2022) – Jonty Rhodes posted a heartwarming letter from a young cricketer, which is going viral for all the right reasons.

The talented player is regarded as one of the greatest fielders of all time and was the first South African cricketer to take 100 ODI catches.

Many people around the globe look up to Rhodes, who recently coached a camp of young women in Southern India. The young cricketers were all inspired by the talented South African, so much so that one of them wrote a heartwarming thank you note, which he posted to Twitter.

“Just finished a wonderful six-day coaching camp with a group of talented young club cricket players in Hyderabad. 1 of the 3 girls in the squad wrote me this letter and reminded me why I love to coach at any level. Blessed and grateful.”

Since then, the post has gone viral, being shared and commented on.
