South Africa (06 December 2024) – The call for nominations of Good Things Guy readers’ favourite influencers went out on the 12th of September 2024, with us asking for your help to find five brand ambassadors for the new luxury SUV by Jetour. Well, you spoke, and five people were chosen!

The deal? The five selected influencers would get to drive the stylish new car for the next six months, getting a feel for the world-class luxury car brand. Jetour launched in South Africa two months ago and wanted to connect with local lifestyle, travel and tech trendsetters and faces to best represent Jetour’s authenticity, passion, and creativity.

These are the five influencers who will be driving the travel and style-orientated seven-seater Jetour X70 Plus or five-seater sharp, athletic Dashing model for the next six months:

Nick Hamman is a 5FM DJ and food and travel enthusiast. Nick has been travelling around South Africa in his X70 Plus, a Jetour 7-seater SUV. The road trips he has embarked on since getting his car have been ultra-comfy. Nick embodies the spirit of adventure, showcasing his passion for discovery in a way that makes everyone want to pack their bags and hit the road.

Cindy Mahlangu is a South African actress, singer and model. She portrays Zama Bolton on Netflix’s Blood & Water, and she has appeared more recently in Soft Love (2024) and Skeleton Coast (2024). Cindy will ooze elegance and style in her “chic and feature-rich Jetour Dashing“.

Samantha Wright, an international eSports host, content creator, fitness fanatic and TechGirl, will be experiencing the performance, technology, and comfort of her crimson-red Jetour Dashing. The SUV is every TechGirl’s dream, thanks to its cutting-edge technology and innovation. Samantha is forging a way in the eSports industry for women, and now she can drive more inspiration while behind the wheel.

Ricollin Moodley, the ultra-talented lipstick artist, brings the creative flair to this group of influencers. He has gained a dedicated following with his art, which uses lipsticks to create beautiful portraits of local celebrities. At just 23 years old, this entrepreneurial artist explores a new frontier of mediums by merging the worlds of art and beauty, and will soon be exploring new frontiers in KwaZulu-Natal and beyond with the Jetour Dashing.

Barto Swiegers, the final Jetour ambassador, is a talented composer and lyricist known for his incredible talent and dedication. He has made a significant impact on the local music industry. He plans to explore South Africa in his Jetour X70 Plus, finding inspiration for his music over the next six months.

The brand was looking for a team of influencers who would promote adventure, exploration, and convenience, which is why these five influencers were the perfect match! It was thanks to you, the Good Things Guy readers, that your favourite influencers have the opportunity to travel in style!

Jetour is fast gaining traction locally, having already sold over 1,000 vehicles since launching in September. You can follow this group of influencers on social media and join in the many adventures that await with Jetour.
