pretoria couple

A Pretoria couple decided to take their domestic helper and gardener to the sea for the first time to thank them for 11-years of working for the family.

It would also be the first time that Lettie, their domestic helper and Frank, their gardener, would have ever been on or seen an aeroplane up close.

Beulah Cronjé and her husband decided to do something special for them.

“Lettie and Frank had never seen or been in an aircraft and they had never seen the sea. So for their 11th work anniversary, my husband and I decided to make Lettie and Frank’s world a little bigger.”

The couple decided to plan a vacation for the 4 of them to visit Jeffreys Bay… the surfing capital of South Africa.

“I cannot put into words, what their facial expressions looked like when they saw the sea for the first time. It was pure amazing happiness.”

“We had such a great time, it was really an amazing experience. We walked the beaches everyday picking up shells, swam in the sea, had ice-cream and spent the most wonderful holiday together.”

The couple posted the pics on Facebook to share the holiday with all their friends but never expected the post to go viral!

“We had such an amazing time together… I will be grateful in my heart forevermore that we got to experience the sea for the first time, with them.”

Check out their awesome holiday photos below:

UPDATE: Since the trip, Beulah had all the images printed on a 2018 calendar and gave both Lettie and Frank a copy so they can remember their trip for the next year.
