While South Africa celebrates Christmas, Liandri Lamprecht is reflecting on a year that changed her life and a crown that continues to carry purpose.

Western Cape, South Africa (25 December 2025) – While most of us woke up to Christmas morning filled with family and festive chaos, Liandri Lamprecht woke up with something just as glittering as any gift under the tree… a title she won last month that continues to shape her life.

Crowned Miss Teen Grand International 2025 in Peru on the 30th of November 2025, after winning the National title in Johannesburg in July, the Teen Queen is spending this Christmas as a titleholder and also as a young South African using her voice to uplift girls across the world.

The George-born queen, who proudly represented South Africa on the international stage last month, has spent the last few weeks stepping into her reign with intention. From appearances to outreach, Liandri’s crown has become a tool, not for glamour, but for change. A registered model with Ace Models Mossel Bay / George, she has been coached by Elani Pretorius, whose guidance helped shape her into a confident and grounded representative for South Africa. Her growth didn’t end with the pageant; if anything, it started there.

Speaking to Good Things Guy this morning, Liandri shared what continues to drive her long after the spotlight faded.

“Winning this crown is more than a title, it’s a responsibility to inspire, uplift, and show every girl that she is enough just as she is. I hope to use this platform to spread confidence, kindness, and courage wherever I go.”

For many, a moment like this would be the victory. For Liandri, it is the vehicle.

“Winning Miss Teen Grand International 2025 is a dream come true. It’s an incredible honour, but more than the crown, it’s a chance to inspire girls everywhere to believe in themselves and chase their dreams with confidence.”

Over the past couple of weeks, she has focused on empowerment work, especially with teens who feel pressured to fit into unfair standards. She wants to champion the girl who whispers instead of shouts, who compares herself to curated perfection online, who hasn’t learnt yet that her gentleness is a strength.

“With this crown, I want to use my voice to encourage young girls to embrace who they are, no matter what anyone else says, and to show them that being confident and kind can open doors they never imagined.”

Her message is clear: confidence is not the absence of fear, it is choosing to show up anyway. Kindness is not weakness, it is strategy. And identity is not a performance, it is who you are when no one is watching. As Miss Teen Grand International 2025, her year ahead will include media representation, outreach projects, and partnerships that align with leadership, purpose, and influence. But today, on Christmas, she is allowing herself to breathe.

“I’m spending Christmas in Struisbaai with family. It’s the perfect way to end an incredible year.”

Christmas brings perspective. And for Liandri, that means realising the crown is not the destination… it is the invitation. To uplift, to encourage and to make her voice matter.
