The talented trio of young South African performers, Biko’s Manna performed a love song for the youth. Listen:

Johannesburg South Africa (13 June, 2023) — As South Africans celebrate Youth Month and gear up for Youth Day on 16 June, we’re all reminded of the young people in South Africa who make our country proud. Three of them are Bikos Manna, a talented trio of sibling performers (Biko, Manna and Mfundo Nhlangothi) whose gift of song and joy earned them an invitation to America’s Got Talent earlier this year.

In anticipation of Youth Day, Biko’s Manna dedicated a love song to young people, encouraging listeners to tune in to the lyrics.

Performing their own rendition of Love Song by Keyshia Cole, swapping the lyrics of finding love in someone else for finding inner love.

“When I started reaching for me, I found love.”

Especially as so many young people around the world battle with identity and self-acceptance, connecting with inner love holds a lot of power. It means knowing your worth as early as you can no matter who you think the world wants you to be.

When you love yourself, your ability to love others only expands! And if our nation rests on love’s foundations, we see a future that we can all be proud of.

Who are Biko’s Manna?

The three musical musketeers from Johannesburg come from artistic roots (their grandmother is Dr Tu Nokwe and their parents are Ayanda Nhlangothi and Sebone Rangata), the musical bug bit them all at a young age. Manna began singing at just 7 years old. Biko also fell in love with music early on as a budding guitarist, and Mfundo the lively dancer joined the duo as soon as he could.

The three have earned crowd love during live performances in Maboneng and virtual ones to the world, earning praise like “you guys are seriously the best thing on TikTok”, and “every time I’m having a bad day, I go to your page and watch some of your videos. Inspiring.”
