Cape Town, South Africa – Sergio Coelho dropped his phone while he was at the V&A Waterfront when they realised, they immediately started calling it. Later that evening they got a call from a man named Sbu.

Sbu said he had found the phone and would be happy to meet up back at the waterfront the very next day.

“He arrived with a big smile on his face and said there you go, shook my hand and started to walk off without asking for anything.

I called him back to stand next to me for a photo and placed a couple of hundred rands in his hand for returning my phone. “

Sergio had no idea that Sbu had no job and was actually at the waterfront looking for a job when he found the phone.

“What a overwhelming thought that there are still honest people with great intentions out there that can be trusted.”

Now Sergio is reaching out in the hopes to help find a job for Sbu. You can contact Sergio here if you have anything based in Cape Town for Sbu. He hopes to pay it forward.

“Please if anyone who resides in Cape Town and could possibly help Sbu with a job I would really appreciate it as he has proven his loyalty and honesty in these hard times we live in. If you would like to get hold of him please message me and I’ll give you his number. A huge thank you Sbu!!!”

People have been deeply inspired by the story and Sergio has already had 4 job offers come in. What started out as a good deed, has led to a meeting of two men that are changing each other’s lives.
