The Reach for a Dream Foundation created a car-themed experience for the 14-year-old from Kempton Park, ending with the gaming gift he had always hoped for.

Kempton Park, South Africa (19 February 2026) – The Reach for a Dream Foundation has once again reminded South Africans of the power of hope. This time, through a special Dream Day for 14-year-old Mosa from Kempton Park.

Mosa, who is living with end-stage kidney failure, is a car and video game enthusiast. His Dream Day was designed entirely around those interests, giving him a chance to step into a world he had only imagined.

His day began with a visit to a luxury car showroom, where he explored high-performance vehicles up close, posing for photos and even experienced the thrill of riding in one of his dream cars. For a teenager who adores everything about cars, it was already an unforgettable start.

But the biggest surprise was still to come.

Later in the day, while seated inside one of the vehicles, Mosa was handed a carefully wrapped gift. When he opened it and realised it was his very own video game, his reaction said it all.

In a video shared by the foundation, Mosa’s enthusiasm is infectious. From being shown how to start one of the cars to enjoying a high-speed ride and unwrapping his gaming console.

The Reach for a Dream Foundation continues to create experiences like these for children living with life-threatening illnesses, offering more than just a day of fun.

And Mosa’s experience was clearly no different.
