The TLC Outreach Projects hosted 100 children from different informal settlements for a fun filled day which included Easter Eggs for each of them!
The TLC Outreach Projects is a non-profit, welfare organisation that works with the elderly and the destitute toddlers and youth at risk. The community based project has been rehabilitating the lives of children living on the streets because of abuse, addiction and extreme poverty.
The organisation worked with various sponsors and hosted 100 children from various informal settlements. The day was filled with fun and the children were given a rare Easter treat, a bag filled with different kinds of chocolate Easter eggs.
The children were all fed a breakfast and lunch on the day which was sponsored by a local hospital. The children got to play on the beach and take part in fun games like potato on a spoon races and beach soccer.
“The older boys had their own soccer tournament. TLC have some very talented players and the team is winning most of their games at other tournaments.”
The children got to do arts and crafts using sweet treats and had their faces painted. The day was an exciting and uplifting one for all the children involved.
“We had a lovely Easter Outreach with children from different informal settlements. The day was filled with fun, laughter and friendship”
