Botswana’s Mmegi newspaper is reporting that the controversial hateful homophobic American pastor Steven Anderson is being deported from the country.
Botswana’s Mmegi newspaper first reported the incident on its Facebook page. The publication explained that he was being held at the country’s immigration department and “was awaiting deportation”.

The Botswana Publication reported that the anti-gay pastor was whisked away by security guards after a radio interview.
Mmegi Online followed the high speed chase escort to the immigration offices in Gaborone where the pastor was being held.
The publication also reported that Steven Anderson’s photographer Paul Wittenberger had been released but was left stranded at the Immigration Department while the pastor was held inside a waiting for deportation.

An hour after the news broke, the Botswana Government further released a statement saying that the anti-gay Pastor has been declared a “Prohibited Immigrant” and is such being deported!

A week ago South African government officially barred the openly homophobic American preacher from traveling to the country!
The home affairs minister said he was refused a visa as the constitution prohibits hate speech.
Minister Gigaba has said that Immigration act of 2002 prohibits admission of foreigners likely to promote hate speech. Steven Anderson and all his associates are prohibited from entering South Africa as LGBTI lives matter and hate speech will not be allowed.
