‘Charity Begins With Me’ is collecting odd plates and other kitchen items to stock the community kitchen; if you have that one random plate, Stephan can use it!

Johannesburg, South Africa (15 September 2021) – Stephen Ferreira started ‘Charity Begins With Me‘ shortly after he was first diagnosed with cancer in 2016. He realised he could do so much more with the life he had left and quickly set up charity as a way to give back.

He has run the charity throughout his chemotherapy treatments, remission and sadly, his relapse. Whatever battles he faces in his own life, it is those of others that give him the strength to push through.

We have shared many of Stephen’s projects here on Good Things Guy and are always in awe of what he comes up with. Each month he is doing something new and empowering for disadvantaged people.

Time and time again, people have stepped forward to help. Now he needs more help, this time to stock the kitchen with cutlery, crockery, and other useful kitchen tools.

They don’t even mind odd plates and mismatched kitchen items. Whatever you may have to donate, you can reach out to Stephan and he will discuss it further.

“If you have any unwanted kitchen items, please send this my way.
We can use plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, etc.
Drop off in Fairland.
Please WhatsApp if you can help.
