Plett Kwikspar Knysna

The Plett KWIKSPAR has opened its doors to those in need! The store is staying open later to assist with feeding fire victims, volunteers and firefighters.

People are pulling together to help with the Knysna Fire. Plett KWIKSPAR have announced that they will be staying open to feed people affected by the fire.

They are currently running on a generator so they are only able to provide toasted sandwiches, burgers sandwiches and anything that can be cooked on a grill.

They received a financial donation which enables them to feed fire volunteers and firefighters for free! They are also giving water to anyone in need at no cost!

Hi All. Just to let you know we (Plett KWIKSPAR) will be staying open later (at least until 9pm) in case anyone needs something for the fire victims or firefighters. If anyone needs food we will be able to make toasted sandwiches or burgers on bread (We can’t bake rolls using generator power). We can also grill some chops etc

Food is free to any firefighters or volunteers assisting in this disaster. Thanks to Lorna for donating R1000 towards this as well.

We also have loads of water at no charge for anyone in need.

Be safe.
Duncan

The fire is a massive tragedy to the community but as always South Africans pull together in tough times and show that no matter what, we are always here for each other!
