Phillimon Ngomani lost his job due to the lastest lockdown, but he has started offering to do lessons for people at their homes to make ends meet.

Johannesburg, South Africa (06 July 2021) – The hospitality industry has been hard hit by rolling lockdowns and this latest level 4 lockdown has meant many people have lost their jobs yet again.

Pastry Chef Phillimon Ngomani found himself officially unemployed last week after the “family meeting”. As the chill of his reality set in, Chef Phillimon started coming up with ideas on how to make ends meet.

Having previously made cakes and cupcakes, which he still does, Chef Phillimon decided to offer his skills as a teacher for home cooks.

“Hi All,
This lockdown has meant that I no longer have a job, and I am desperate for any help.
I am a professional baker and a qualified pastry chef, and I would love to give lessons to anyone, including children, for a little bit of extra income.

This year has been extremely tough for me, and you can decide how much you are willing to pay me for a lesson/s.

As tough as things are right now, I’ve never seen someone sad eating my cakes!

Chef Phillimon is one of the thousands out there who are facing this new reality of trying to find means of employment. If you find someone who is trying their best, give them a like, a shoutout or even a bit of business.
