The Reach For A Dream Foundation made a little boys dream come true and the pictures had our hearts overflowing with happiness.

Daru has spent his life dreaming about flying a helicopter. Thanks to Westline Aviation and Different.org that dream was made a reality and his reaction was pure joy.

In the last 30 years, the Reach for a Dream Foundation has fulfilled over 18,300 children’s dreams. They have also touched the lives of over 45 000 more children through their various projects.

The Foundation works to fulfil the dreams of children between the ages of 3 and 18 who are living with life-threatening illnesses. The dream team uses the special day to help the children regain some of their childhoods which mostly consists of medical routines and being cautious.

“We believe in the power of dreams and we encourage children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses. We seek, as far as possible, to make dreams come true and our donors and sponsors make this happen.” – Reach for a Dream

Westline Aviation is located at the New Tempe Airport in Bloemfontein and this is where Daru got to spend the day living out his dream. As you can see from the images below and above, he had an absolute blast. The joy on his little face has our hearts overflowing with happiness.

Different.org is an online crowdfunding website dedicated to making a better South Africa. They have raised over R9-million in donations since their founding and often work with the Reach for a Dream Foundation to make dreams come true.

“We are dedicated to helping South Africa realise its potential as the greatest country in Africa. We want to see dreams and possibilities awakened in our people, to help them on their journey to fulfilment.”
