The Soweto Animal Rescue and Advisory Centre have been blessed with a dedicated worker in Mathabo who goes above and beyond without a cent in return.
Soweto, South Africa (14 April 2021) – The Soweto Animal Rescue and Advisory Centre (SARAC) have been blessed with a dedicated, hardworking young woman who has been an asset to their organisation. Unfortunately, they are not able to pay her and are hoping to find her a paying job within the animal rescue realm.
Meet Mathabo, a qualified animal health technician, who goes above and beyond to care for and protect rescued animals in Soweto.
“Her love and passion for the voiceless is way beyond explanation.
She helps keep the kennels clean, prepares clean/suitable beds for the rescues and attends to all their medical needs, doing much more than what her qualifications as an Animal Health Technician entails.
And she’s doing all of this without getting even a cent as SARAC cannot afford to pay her a salary.
We, therefore, appeal to all fellow Animal Rescue Centre’s that can afford to, to give Mathabo employment. She will no doubt be an asset to any organization and has a unique way of making animals forget their sad past…”
A glowing reference and recommendation if there ever was one. Who could resist wanting to lend a helping hand? In fact, several SARAC supporters have asked if donations can be made towards her for the time being and SARAC responded that it was a lovely idea.
Should you be in a position to provide Mathabo with a job, or be willing to sponsor her until a full-time job is found, you can reach out to the organisation via Facebook here.
