Shivani Govender is a former Miss India SA and banking analyst who was on a work trip in New York. While walking around Times Square with her colleagues, she spotted a flash mob.

Being a lover of dance, she pulled her phone out and started filming the performance. She enjoyed the show but was pleasently surprised when the lead dancer pulled off his mask and approached her.

The man who stepped forward was Tevin Govender, Shivani’s boyfriend. She was shocked to see him there on the busy New York street and was so happy she could hardly speak. Falling to the floor, Tevin picked her up and embraced her in a hug. The next moment he gestured she look towards a nearby billboard which had a loving proposal flashing across the screen.

The crowd followed her gaze and saw the proposal message. As she looked back to Tevin, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The crowd around them burst into applause and someone asked if she said yes. When the happy couple replied yes, the crowd burst into applause once again.

This is one heck of a lovely surprise propsal. The groom-to-be really surprised his future bride in the best way. Take a look at their loving reactions below.
