Cancer

Get all your tissues ready! These school kids found out their teacher was diagnosed with Cancer and together with the music teacher, they performed the most beautiful song we have ever heard!

Teachers spend many years giving their all to the children they teach. Sometimes they continue to do so despite their own personal hardships. Adriana Lopez, a teacher from the United States, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She continued to teach regardless of her treatment which inspired her class to give her an extra dose of strength on those tough days.

Adriana was halfway through Chemo when the video was filmed and was due to start radiation as soon as she was done with Chemo. According to a user on YouTube, Adriana won her battle and is currently cancer-free!

The school kids sang Martina McBride’s beautiful song “I’m Gonna Love You Through It”. The lyrics of the song are so beautiful and anyone who has ever had to support a loved one through a tough time will know how true these words really are!

When you’re weak, I’ll be strong
When you let go, I’ll hold on
When you need to cry, I swear
That I’ll be there to dry your eyes
When you feel lost and scared to death,
Like you can’t take one more step
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I’m gonna love you through it.
