26-year-old Clement has been keeping a pretty cool secret; he has an incredible musical talent and a pretty impressive singing voice too.

Tulbagh, South Africa (04 October 2021) – Julene Van Der Colff and her family were surprised when they learned of young Clement’s musical talents. Clement, from Lesotho, has been working as a fruit picker on Julene’s family farm.

He had always exuded good manners, kindness and grace, something the family picked up on quite early on when he started working at the farm. Over time the family came to know him, but they never knew he had a secret music talent.

Clement is a self-taught guitarist, and he has an incredible voice to go along with it. Julene’s father heard about his music and invited him to perform for the family.

They were blown away by his renditions of popular songs, including Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”.

“When he started singing Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” he had us all captivated. I couldn’t stop the tears and scrambled to grab a phone to take a video.

This man hasn’t had any musical training. He taught himself to play guitar a few years ago and says he’s been playing for about 3 years. He would love to take his music further and maybe perform at functions.”

Julene believes Clement’s talent is something that needs to be shared with the world. She is encouraging people who wish to hear him perform, reach out.

“I really believe we have only experienced the tip of this man’s talent and I would love to see him realise his dream.”

Take a look at his performance below.
