The World Cup fever is fast growing as we edge our way closer to the biggest games but many children do not get to see the games; one teacher played the highlights for her class, so they too could take part in the excitement.

South Africa (20 October 2023) – Many schoolchildren do not get to watch the World Cup rugby games, whether from not having access or because the matches are only played after bedtime. Miss Sinz, as her class fondly calls her, realised it would be a treat to share the highlights with her class, after learning that only 4 of them had seen the game. She is showing that a teacher can help a class feel involved in the excitement too.

Having access to YouTube and a projector, Miss Sinz played the highlights of the France versus South Africa game where the Springboks proceeded to the semi-finals. It is safe to say even the children probably sat on the edge of their seats.

Schools throughout South Africa are getting the youth involved in celebrations and messages of inspiration for the Springboks. We love that the youth are so eager to support the Springboks. From war cries and drum circles to wholesome words of encouragement and entire school cheers, we have loved sharing these stories.

Miss Sinz has inspired us once again. We love that she has gone above and beyond to include her class in the world cup excitement. If you have been looking for a way to involve your class, this could be it!
