Belinda Peters was on her way home from fetching her injured daughter when her worst nightmare occurred, she got a flat tyre in a place she didn’t feel safe

Belinda Peters was on her way back from fetching her daughter in Pretoria when she felt her car begin to act weirdly. She didn’t feel safe pulling over in the area she was in so she carried on driving until she felt safe enough to pull over.

Once she did, she discovered that her tyre was flat. All the cars coming up behind her were less than gracious about her struggle and continued to hoot and get annoyed. This sent Belinda into a panic as she wasn’t sure how to proceed with a tyre change.

Thankfully, a hero pulled up next to her, who just so happened to be a tyre expert. Given, an employee of HiQ Menlyn offered her a helping hand in a rather stressful moment.

“A ladies nightmare happened to me yesterday… rushing through to fetch My daughter from school because of an injury and I get a puncture!!!! I first felt it, at fountain circle, because I didn’t feel safe I chose to drive a little further where I felt safe enough to pull over, (I had my 11-year-old daughter with me) so I stopped my car, put my hazards on and start getting into a complete panic… not only because I have a puncture but because of the assholes on the road HOOTING AT ME!!!!!

Just saying I didn’t stop to put lipstick on I actually stopped because I was stuck!!!! A few minutes later Given from HiQ Menlyn stopped to help me. What a gentleman… he took complete control of the situation and changed the tyre for me.”

She was incredibly grateful for the helping hand and reached out to HiQ Menlyn to say thanks for their stellar employee’s assistance.

HiQ Menlyn thank you for having such a wonderful well-trained staff member working for you!!! I can’t thank you enough, from my daughter and I, Thank you Given”
