Kitesurfing

Tom Seager a kitesurfer from the UK recently visited Cape Town South Africa to catch some air and shared his trip in a really cool video.

If you have ever had the opportunity to head down to the windy coastal towns of South Africa, you will know that kitesurfing is incredibly popular. It is a wonderful sight to see then men and women take to the ocean on their boards and float up into the sky, catching a gust of wind.

Cape Town is a very popular destination for this sport. The beaches along the West Coast are often filled with brightly coloured kites on windy days.

Having grown up close to one of those beaches, kitesurfers were a very common sight. The wind whipping them up into the air almost always sent shivers through my body. The heights these daredevils would reach, often left my legs feeling like jelly.

Tom Seager, a kitesurfer from the UK recently visited Cape Town to venture out to one of the kitesurfing beaches. He filmed his trip on a GoPro and shared it online. Seeing just how high some of his jumps were, from his personal vantage point, was incredible!

Tom, a junior champion, came to South Africa with his family and despite having a bit of a bug, he thoroughly enjoyed his trip.

Take a look at his adventure and kitesurfing below.
