Gadija Gamildien accidentally lost her cellphone while walking into her local mall and a wonderful lady saw it and kept it safe.
Johannesburg, South Africa (05 February 2021) – Gadija Gamildien was on her way to take her cellphone in, but her phone was not in her bag when she got to the store. She quickly rushed to her car and found that it was missing. Thankfully, a woman restored her faith in humanity.
Gadija had climbed out of her car and dropped her phone without realising. She was on a mission to get to the cellphone shop and get back home. A woman named Sibongile was walking past and saw the phone. She quickly went to pick it up and turned to give it to Gadija, but Gadija was nowhere in sight.
Sibongile stood in the parking lot waiting to spot Gadija so she could hand the phone back. All of a sudden, the phone rang so she answered it. It was Gadija on the other side.
The ladies were so happy to be united, and Sibongile quickly handed the phone back to its rightful owner. She was just happy that she had seen it before anyone else.
Gadija shared the story with Good Things Guy to show her appreciation for Sibongile and to thank her for restoring her faith in humanity.
“Went to Eastgate earlier on to the Cell C shop. Got out of the car and walked in and soon as I got there the guy asked me for my cellphone. I couldn’t find it anywhere went back to the car and looked and nothing! Now I’m in full panic mode as my cellphone is not even 2 months old. And a guy pulls up next to me and I ask him if I can borrow his phone to call my number.
Lo and behold someone answers. Her name is Sibongile and she saw me get out of the car and saw me drop my phone. She was standing in the parking lot to see if she could locate me !!! My god was I shocked. In this day and age, I never expected to find such honesty.
