Inge van Schalkwyk’s wedding ring has gone missing on her travels from Bloemfontein to Cape Town and she needs help finding it.

South Africa (21 June 2024) — Inge van Schalkwyk felt total despair when her wedding ring went missing on her flight from Bloemfontein to Cape Town on the 18th of June 2024. She has taken to social media to plea for help in finding the ring, in the hopes of being reunited with it.

We have witnessed many times in the past when social media users collectively band together to help find a missing animal, person or possession. Together, communities always find a way to turn a scary moment, into something good!

Inge was on a FlySafair flight (FA841) when she noticed her ring was missing. She has asked if anyone spots it, to please reach out to her, which you can do here.

Inge has faith that the ring will be returned, she just needs to get the message out there so people can keep an eye out. If you, or anyone you know, is travelling between the two places on a FlySafair flight or is in either airport, keep the image Inge has shared below in the front of your mind and keep an eye on the odd places.

Not only will you make her day, but your efforts will be rewarded, too! Kindness has a way of paying itself forward…
