Last week Friday, a man saw a little boy without school shoes on & decided to assist him by doing a random act of kindness.
Piet Bakers posted about the act of kindness on Facebook which is quickly gaining traction…
Yesterday one of my friends, while we were talking, saw this boy coming back from school with no shoes, he said to me “let’s buy him school shoes”.
So I chased after this boy that I don’t know who then looked at me like he was in trouble. He didn’t believe me when I told him we wanted to buy him the shoes.
I told him to wait for me by the store while I got money.
I told him to choose the shoes and my friend met me inside who actually then insisted that he would pay for them.
Watching that boy reminded me of my childhood when I didn’t have school shoes and was about to get kicked out of school. All I had was my cousins shoes that were 3 sizes too big.
I’m blessed to have godly friends who care about what God is doing here and now. I’m sure that boy’s parents were shocked and have hope in God.
It’s amazing how something as small as shoes can make a difference in your education.
