Its the little things that make up the big things…

Building on the foundation of a viral, spontaneous act of positivity, Brent Lindeque, a young South African man turned the reckless drinking game #neknominaitons on it’s head, by using his nomination to instead, perform a random act of kindness. By giving a homeless man a $2 meal, and using the power of social media to “pay-it-forward” his nomination went viral and to date has been viewed over 780,000 times.

More importantly it spawned thousands of similar videos, reaching and physically improving millions of lives and in addition created 3 dedicated feeding schemes in Canada, the USA and Ireland that are still running today.

While the act of being charitable and doing good, is a natural one for most of us, it is often simply too difficult to fit into our daily work schedules. The beauty of the #RAK16 movement, is its’ genuine simplicity.

We all have the power to Change Everything by simply Changing One Thing. A small act of kindness can change your own daily reality, which is as simple as paying for someone’s coffee, or parting with a pair of old shoes you never wear.

#RAK15 collectively trended for more than 2 months & reached over 90 million people & #RAK16 has already reached 15 million people in 2 weeks!

Here’s a video from the Panda Crew… a team of individuals who get together & give back.

We were nominated by Brent Lindeque, to do our ‪#‎RAK16‬. We went out to do a Random Act of Kindness, but in reality we were the ones that experienced a Random Act of Kindness.
You don’t have to do anything massive to change someone’s life, just a simple smile, a shower, a haircut or just a hug.

We present to you Frans, the man who changed our lives…

We as the PandaCrew, nominate YOU to do #RAK16, show the love.

Thank you Follicle Hair Atelier and Planet Fitness Hennopsview for your support.

Ontmoet Frans…

Here’s a #RAK16 Diaan Nettling posted just yesterday:

Meet Dawid Buffel, 60 years old (and 3 months he said proudly)…he has 5 children, not all his teeth and lost his leg due to an infection 2 years ago!!! I just simply gave him a lift to Spar LHP, because walking with one leg on crutches probably just to get bread seemed like an impossible task for anyone… this made Dawid’s day…. and his conversation and that million dollar smile made my day..!!

It’s the small things in life … God bless you Dawid Buffel _ my friend!

Travis Kruger chose not to post his simple act of kindness but hoped that it would make a difference in someones life… this post appeared a couple of hours later…

Was so shocked this morning. At the toll gate, the car infront of me gave the lady in the booth his money for the toll. He then gave her a slab of chocolate. And then another coin. I still sat there thinking, shame that was sweet of him. I then drove to the booth to pay, and the lady said to me he had paid for me too. To whom ever that was, Thank you so much!!! And i hope that the kindness you showed today will someday soon be return to you. I will be doing the same thing tomorrow for someone. paying it forward.. ‪#‎RAK16‬

Internationally, the #RAK16 ideas are taking shape too… Just last week a cop bought a homeless woman groceries & booked her a hotel room to stay warm during a storm.
