Nehanda Peguillan and Michaela Louw, were chosen to go forward to the Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition, to represent South Africa.

The International Ballet Choreography Competition is in its fourth year and was held in Beijing.

“IBCC is an international competition officially designated by the Ministry of Culture of China, supported by the Beijing Municipal Government, and hosted by the National Centre for the Performing Arts.”

The young ladies made it all the way to the Semi-Finals before being eliminated from the competition. They had the time of their lives, including the moment they struck their poses on the Great Wall of China (Image Above).

Nehanda and Michaela also had the opportunity to take part in a shoot and interview which was posted on China Daily. They discussed how they loved the trip and laughed even though there was a language barrier. These young ladies have a bright future and we look forward to seeing more of them.
