The South African Men’s Hockey team are currently in Cuttack Bhubaneshwar, India taking part in the World Cup; they are hoping to fly the flag high.
Bhubaneswar, India (16 January 2023) – South Africa’s Hockey Men are currently in India for the FIH World Cup where they will play against 15 other nations for the winning title.
The SA team is in a pool against Argentina, Australia and France. Other countries include Belguim, Chile, England, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain and Wales.

They lost their first match against Argentina 0 – 1 but looked forward to going against France for the second match. They played France today, making one goal but losing 2 – 1. They are set to play Australia next, on the 20th of January 2023.
