Akheeliah Solomon is an emerging athlete destined for greatness. Having recently clinched gold at a Provincial Athletic Championship, she now looks forward with determination to sprint in two upcoming national championships.

Steadily making her mark in the world of athletics is young Akheeliah Solomon from Pietermaritzburg.
Her natural talent and tireless training recently saw her dashing her way to the Umgungundlovu Regional Athletic Team, where she showed off her incredible skills at the Provincial Athletic Championship by clutching gold in her U15 100m race in a time of 12.98 seconds!
This amazing feat will see Akheeliah participating in the National Championships in Bloemfontein on 4 and 5 April 2025, then bolting to Cape Town a week later to compete in the National Championships at Green Point where she looks forward to securing her name as one of the rising South African athletes to look out for.
Her school, Carter High School Pietermaritzburg, expressed its pride in Akheeliah’s phenomenal athletic performance.
