One of the sponsors of Team South Africa, Toyota, held a ceremony today to reward all the Olympic and Paralympic medal winners.
South Africa (10 September 2021) – South Africa’s Olympic and Paralympic medal winners are all home and settling into their new titles. As part of representing South Africa, each athlete will be rewarded for their medals. The ceremony to honour them took place today, the 10th of September 2021.
Present was each of the medalists from both events. They are:
Gold
- Anruné Weyers (P) – Women’s 400m (T47) Race
- Ntando Mahlangu (P) – Men’s Long Jump (T63)
- Pieter du Preez (P) – Men’s Road Time Trial H1
- Ntando Mahlangu (P) – Men’s 200m (T61) Race
- Tatjana Schoenmaker (O) – Womens 200m Breaststroke
Silver
- Louzanne Coetzee (P) – 1500m Final (T11) Race
- Bianca Buitendag (O) – Women’s Surfing
- Tatjana Schoenmaker (O) – Women’s 100m Breaststroke
Bronze
- Sheryl James (P) – Women’s 400m (T37) Race
- Louzanne Coetzee (P) – Women’s Marathon (T12)
