Wothabo Nene, Stephanie Dimitrova and Jeanne-Marié Kitshoff represented South Africa at the International Tournament Sofia Cup 2024, flying the flag high.

 

Sofia, Bulgaria (08 April 2024) — Gymnastics South Africa had three representatives at the 2024 International Tournament Sofia Cup in Bulgaria. The young women who took part in the Rhythmic event were Wothabo Nene, Stephanie Dimitrova, and Jeanne-Marié Kitshoff.

Wothabo, Stephanie, and Jeanne-Marie competed in the Hoop and Ball events. The Sofia Cup included categories for Rhythmic Individual (Junior / Senior) and Rhythmic Group (Senior). It took place from April 4th to April 7th 2024. There are a total of cups on the Federation Internationale De Gymnastique (FIG) events calendar.

Wothabo, Stephanie, and Jeanne-Marie worked incredibly hard, showcased their talents within their chosen disciplines and made South Africa proud.

They will continue their efforts in representing South Africa and flying the flag high at events this year. We will be sure to report on their results when they are shared online.
