“It’s a whole new me” — at least, that’s how Adele said she feels at the moment. But that powerful voice still remains the same, and she is showing it off on a snippet of new song, “When We Were Young,” off her upcoming album, 25 (Nov. 20).
In a preview clip for her interview with “60 Minutes Australia,” Adele invites cameras into her studio where she gives fans the first taste of her powerful new ballad. Warning: It will give you the chills.

The “Hello” singer points her finger to the sky and hits a note just as high as she belts out what we assume is the chorus to the song, before launching in to yet another goosebump-worthy verse.

The song, which she told Rolling Stone was her favorite, was written with Tobias Jesso Jr.and is about “running into an old flame that confesses, ’I still care,’ and then, tentatively asks, ’Do you still care?’”
