Neil Douglas was shocked when he sat down next to a man who looked just like him on a flight from London to Ireland.
The ginger-bearded twin strangers noticed their uncanny likeliness immediately, which resulted in the grinning selfie posted on social media by Lee Beattie – a friend of Neil’s wife.

She later added: “I can’t stop looking at it. They are the same man.”
“I don’t even know his name but I know he’s 35 and from London,” Neil told the Mirror.
“He was over with his friends for a lads weekend.”
Scientists have revealed that everyone is likely to have around seven doppelgängers in the world.
Just earlier this month, these two doppelgangers bumped into each other in Germany and are now best friends.
Ciara Murphy, from Wexford, Ireland and Cordelia Roberts, from the UK, had never met before and didn’t even grow up in the same country.
The two met while studying in Germany. When they went out for drinks, people asked them whether they had a twin or a sister staying nearby.
When the two finally met, they posted a selfie on Facebook.
Ciara’s friend Jessica said they’re now known as “the twins”, and added: “They’re always together now, they’re like a package deal. “They have this bond now, just because they look the same.”
