Hopelands Keeps Giving Hope as SA Fills its Pantry

Even with limited resources, Hopelands remains committed to raising strong, hopeful children in a home filled with care and love.

Magaliesburg, South Africa (23 July 2025) – Tucked away in the quiet streets of Magaliesburg is a place called Hopelands. This is a home for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or are in vulnerable situations. Many of these children come from very difficult backgrounds, but at Hopelands, they are given a fresh start.

The home gives children more than just food and shelter. They are placed in a family-style environment where they receive love, care, and support. The people at Hopelands help the children grow, learn, and feel safe. They want every child to feel like they belong and to know that their life matters.

Right now, Hopelands needs help. The shelves are almost empty, and they are struggling to keep up with the needs of the children. From food and toiletries to baby supplies, there is a shortage of basic items.
