“I’m Allister Coetzee, Peter De Villiers, and Heyneke Meyer. She is Rassie Erasmus. She’s taking the apartment to the World Cup.”
Cape Town, South Africa (28 October 2025) – KFM radio presenter Mitch Matyana has made South Africans LOL with his rant about forgetting to do the all-important ‘pre-clean’ before his cleaning lady arrived.
It’s the scramble you find yourself in minutes before the pro shows up. It comes with similar nerves that an exam or test would bring, because you know a pro will be judging you!
Really, it’s an unspoken habit because most of us are raised to clean up after ourselves, and it feels wrong when we don’t. That’s why Mitch hid out in his car and made this video.
We can joke about it, but it’s also just a good thing. If you’re in the same habit of doing that mandatory ‘pre-clean’, it shows that you care about the person coming into your home and the work they do.

“It’s humbling to start fresh. It takes a lot of courage. But it can be reinvigorating. You just have to put your ego on a shelf and tell it to be quiet.” — Jennifer Ritchie Payette
