A woman captured drone footage of the Garden Route using the Phantom 3 Professional, the heights she reaches are slightly dizzying but absolutely stunning!
Nadia Aly was on holiday in South Africa when she started filming with her new Phantom 3 Professional. The drone footage she captured was of some of the most popular Garden Route destinations as well as in the Cape.
She filmed in Plettenberg Bay, Bloukrans Bridge, Sardinia Bay, Riversdale, Cape Point, Gariep Dam and Angel Falls.
Nadia is an exceptionally talented underwater photographer, a dream she now follows full time! She left the corporate world, working at companies like Microsoft, Google and PADI.
After realizing that life is what you make it, she left the corporate world for the ocean. She is now living her dream of travelling and creating compelling content for her website.
Her new job is to lead diving expeditions all over the world. Her company takes people to some of the most beautiful waters in the world. Including South Africa!
The company and Nadia were in South Africa to view the Sardine Run which only happens in South Africa. They also went Shark diving and did the usual safari type activities as well.
In terms of biomass, researchers estimate the sardine run could rival East Africa’s great wildebeest migration. However, little is known of the phenomenon.
The shoals are often more than 7 km long, 1.5 km wide and 30 metres deep and are clearly visible from spotter planes or from the surface.
