The SPAR Proteas star reflects on her London Pulse journey, saying goodbye with gratitude, lifelong friendships and memories she’ll always treasure.
London, United Kingdom (15 July 2026) – Kamogelo Maseko says goodbye to London Pulse after an unforgettable chapter.
South African netball star Kamogelo Maseko has officially closed the chapter on her time with London Pulse, reflecting on a journey that challenged her, helped her grow and left her with friendships she’ll cherish for life.
Sharing an emotional farewell on social media, the SPAR Proteas attacker described her departure as “bittersweet”, thanking teammates, opponents, management and supporters who became part of her journey.
For Maseko, the move to England was always about stepping outside her comfort zone, and it’s a challenge she believes paid off.
“The goal was to step outside my comfort zone and boy, I really did,” she wrote.
Maseko embraced every opportunity on court, crediting her teammates for backing her throughout the season.
Reflecting on moving on, Maseko shared a message about embracing new beginnings.
“I guess there’s a trick to the graceful exit. It begins with recognising when a chapter is over and letting it go… Every exit is an entry.”
Still only in the early stages of an already impressive career, Maseko has become one of South Africa’s brightest netball talents. She made her SPAR Proteas debut at just 18 years old before making her mark with the Gauteng Jaguars and Tuks Netball, eventually earning the opportunity to compete professionally in England.
As the jersey comes off, Maseko walks away with renewed confidence.
