The 12-year-old animal lover enjoyed a game drive at Kragga Kamma before discovering a very special parcel hidden just for him.

Gqeberha, South Africa (07 October 2026) – Nakhane had a pretty good idea of what he wanted from his Dream Day.

The 12-year-old from Uitenhage dreamed of having a game console so he could enjoy his favourite games from home.

But before he got anywhere near his new console, he was off on a completely different kind of adventure.

Nakhane spent his special day at Kragga Kamma Game Park, where the animal-loving youngster was in his element as he spotted wildlife during the game drive.

Then came a little twist. Nakhane was pulled into a game of hide-and-seek, but this wasn’t your ordinary round. Somewhere out in the bushes was a mystery parcel.

The excited 12-year-old set off in search of the hidden package, making his way through the bushes until he finally found the box waiting for him.

Inside was the new console he had been dreaming about.

And judging by the smile that followed, the surprise was every bit as good as he had imagined.

For a shy and warm-hearted youngster who loves spending time with his family, animals and his favourite games, it was a pretty special way to spend a day.

His love for his family is said to shine through his smile, and on this particular day, that smile got even bigger.
