Ryan O’Connor has teamed up with the Nehemiah Safe House to help them raise funds to buy a much-needed car for the safe house.

Nehemiah Safe House was started by Bronson and his wife Amy. They opened their home to abused children and offered them a safe space to heal.

Since then, the family has welcomed 7 children into their home. They believe that each child deserves a happy loving childhood. Ryan O’Connor has teamed up with the family to help bring awareness to their funding campaign. They are hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a safer family car. They currently have a Bantam Bakkie which is not child and toddler-friendly.

“We are a Safe House based in Monte Vista, Cape Town. We are a home to vulnerable children. Our motto is “turning tears to laughter ” and we strive for this daily”

“Our home is always full of children needing love and stability and we do this by giving them a loving family home environment to grow and thrive.”

“We do a lot of travelling and with 7 children in our home – which sometimes goes up to 10, having a reliable and safe vehicle is a necessity.”

“We are currently operating from a Bantam Bakkie which is not practical at all. Our main concern is the safety of the children in our home. We are raising funds to make our dream of a vehicle a reality.” – Amy

They will be hosting a breakfast at the safe house and Ryan O’Connor will be there as the MC of the event.
