Boeing 737 Fourways Mall

Pictures of a massive Boeing 737 being transported from the Airport to Fourways Mall have started trending online.

On Tuesday the 27th of February, commuters and residents within Johannesburg were faced with a different type of traffic jam… one that involved a Boeing 737.

The massive airplane was being transported from Jet Park to the new Kidzania city in Fourways Mall and social media kept us all updated with pics from the big move.

Here’s some of the posts… we will keep updating as they stream in:

The new KidZania city is the first of it’s kind on the entire Africa continent and is set to educate and enrich all the kids who visit the new concept.

The kid’s city will be 8000 square meters and will host a variety of educational opportunities and fun.

“KidZania is an interactive city made for children 2-14 that combines inspiration, fun and learning through realistic role-play. Kids can independently explore a scaled city of over 7,000 square meters with more than 100 exciting careers that they can try.

Fueled by a child’s natural desire to create, explore and collaborate, KidZania is equal parts entertainment and learning, making it one of the most progressive family entertainment concepts in the world today.

Through ultrarealistic role-play, children learn about different careers, the inner-workings of a city and the concept of managing money. Each experience is designed to empower kids, giving them the confidence to be their best selves, and inspiration to be great global citizens.

Each KidZania facility offers experiences that are relevant to each region, culture and geography by way of professions, entertainment and food. At every location, KidZania uses real-world fun and learning to ready kids for a better world.”

This entire concept is exciting for parents and kids. It will be opening at Fourways Mall at the end of 2018.

You can watch the promo video for the London KidZania below, it will showcase what can be expected right here in South Africa.
