More people are relying on the help of others to feed themselves and their families; these are the charities keeping bellies filled this year.

South Africa (07 January 2025) – People around the world are struggling with rising costs of living and South Africa is no exception. People are struggling to feed themselves and their families, and often turn to organisations for help. We have a list of organisations that work tirelessly to make sure everyone has a meal.

Feeding schemes and organisations come and go in South Africa as funding is found or dries out. Sadly, over the years, our charity list related to a single meal or huge food parcels has dwindled, and this year, it is the smallest yet – BUT there are still organisations filling the hunger gap, making sure people have food to eat.

We personally reached out to each of these organisation to see if they wanted to be included. Some help when disaster strikes, some run soup kitchens for the destitute and some teach communities how to grow food but all ensure that nobody goes hungry!

Please note that this is a working list, so keep sending through your charities, and we will keep adding them!
