Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation co-founder Carina Crayton is turning her “double nickel birthday” into an opportunity to champion the cause closest to her heart: wildlife conservation.
Limpopo, South Africa (17 March 2025) – To save wildlife. That is the main and most heartfelt birthday wish of Carina Crayton, the co-founder of Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation (WHWF).
This year she celebrates 55 incredible years of her life, most of which have been compassionately dedicated to caring for wildlife – all creature big and small.
She hopes to celebrate this special birthday with more than just cake and elaborate festivities but for the greater cause that truly fuels her passion.
“On the 28th of March, as I celebrate another year of life and turn a super pleasing 55, I’m reminded of the beauty and fragility of the natural world that surrounds us.
“This year, instead of gifts, I have a heartfelt request: join me in supporting Wild Heart Wildlife Foundation (WHWF), our incredible organisation where Paul and I work tirelessly to protect and preserve our planet’s most vulnerable wildlife,” Carina appeals.
Over the years, WHWF has gone above and beyond to rescue and rehabilitate injured and orphaned animals, fight against illegal poaching, and work to ensure a future for endangered species.
“As Co-Founder of WHWF I have a deeply personal stake in fundraising for our organisation, on behalf of our clients that we serve: the Wildlife of South Africa.
“Our dedication keeps us going – but we can’t do it alone. Our life-saving efforts depend on the generosity of people like you,” Carina explains.
