Hyena and Lion fighting over a massive giraffe kill at the third hole of Skukuza’s Golf Club turned the driving range into a game drive filled with excitement.

Skukuza, South Africa (26 August 2022) – The Skukuza Golf Club often has interesting guests gracing its greens, but the latest group have left everyone shocked; they played like animals!

The golf course is often a feature when drawing tourists to the Kruger National Park; the lush greens are also popular with the locals, namely leopards, wild dogs, elephants and today, a massive giraffe kill being fought over by lions and hyenas.

The video of the third hole kill was shared this morning after grounds staff spotted the commotion and wanted to advise golfers of the interruption to their expected games.

“Incredible scenes this morning at Skukuza Golf Club as we woke up to a frenzy around a giraffe taken down on the 3rd hole.

Forget bunkers, this is definitely the most unique fairway hazard you’ll find on a golf course” – Skukuza Golf Course

The footage is of a pack of hyenas harassing the lions that made the giraffe kill and how eventually, the hyena won the carcass rights and took over the green, pushing the lions back and away from their hard-earned meal.

What is the craziest sighting you have had while playing golf?

Take a look at the three videos shared by the club below. Be warned, the content may not be appropriate for sensitive viewers.
